Summer Youth Mindful Moments The stress level for kids these days are at an all time high, not to mention the raise of anxiety and depression among teens. Let the Lazy J and our horses put your mind and your child's mind at ease! Our Youth Mindful Moments can help your child -ease frustration when faced with something difficult -improve their attention span and focus - stay calm under stress -avoid getting too upset -get along better with others -be more patient -be better listeners -help them feel happier overall! During their time at The Lazy J, your child will learn about our horses and how they use mindfulness for survival. They will also learn how to safely interact with our horses before introducing them to stress management and mindfulness techniques. The next step is heading out to the HORSES! Your child will get to join the horses in the paddock, pet them and brush them as they begin to put their newfound skills into action. They will sharpen their skills as they sit in the paddock with the horses, close your eyes and listen to our certified Equine Assisted Learning facilitator take them on a guided mindfulness journey. Allowing them to focus on their different senses and breathing to feel a deep sense of relaxation and confidence. No journey is complete without time to reflect and record. Your child will continue to sit with the horses as they record their thoughts in your mindfulness journal. We wrap up our time thanking our beautiful horses (selfies and group pictures are encouraged).

Refund/Cancellation Policy Cancellations 7 day notice required for a full refund 3 day notice required for a 50% refund Rescheduling Min. 24 hr. notice required if need to reschedule If you need to reschedule due to illness a 12hr notice is appreciated, however we understand life happens please notify us as soon as possible. If you simply do not show up for your scheduled program you are NOT eligible for a refund and you will be charged a $20 reschedule fee if you choose to reschedule.
