PAL Around Pony School Early Childhood Education & Farm Enrichment Program Ages 2.5 – 5 Years PAL Around Pony School at Lazy J Ranch is an early childhood education program designed to support young children’s social, emotional, and physical development through structured, hands-on pony and farm experiences. This program follows the Pony School® curriculum, a nationally recognized model that introduces young children to ponies in a safe, playful, and developmentally appropriate environment. Through predictable routines, engaging learning activities, and guided pony interaction, children build confidence, independence, and early life skills while developing comfort around animals. What Happens in Each Class Each weekly class is thoughtfully structured to help children feel secure, engaged, and successful. Activities may include: Welcome circle and routine time Pony-themed stories and songs Hands-on pony care and farm experiences Movement, balance, and coordination activities Craft or sensory learning projects Ground-based pony lesson Short assisted riding experience Closing routine and celebration Children gradually gain confidence and become more comfortable interacting with ponies while learning basic safety and early horsemanship skills.
