ABOUT THE
LAZY J RANCH
Horse Centered... People Orientated...
Rooted in Connection...
Lazy J Ranch is a welcoming equestrian community in Salisbury, Massachusetts, built around the belief that meaningful horsemanship goes far beyond time in the saddle.
Since 2006, we have focused on helping people develop confidence, knowledge, responsibility, and genuine relationships with horses. Whether someone comes to us for their very first introduction to a horse, adaptive riding, continued skill development, literacy experiences, or advanced riding instruction, we meet them where they are and help them grow from there.
Every rider. Every horse. Every journey is different.
OUR STORY
Built From a Love of Horses & People
A Dream That Became Lazy J Ranch
Lazy J Ranch began with a simple dream: to own our own horse and someday have a ranch of our own.
Then the stars aligned.
That dream turned into an exciting, life-changing adventure when we purchased a run-down piece of property in Salisbury, Massachusetts and began bringing it back to life. What started as a place for our own horses quickly became something much bigger, a place we wanted to share with others.
Over the years, Lazy J Ranch has grown through new horses, new people, new programs, and experiences we never could have imagined when we first started. But the heart of the ranch has remained the same: our love of horses, our belief in the connection they create, and our desire to give people a welcoming place to learn, grow, and simply be.
If you need a place to step away from the stress of everyday life, or simply want to spend time in the presence of a horse, we invite you to come join us and our herd at Lazy J Ranch.
Whether you want to learn to ride, build confidence and life skills, deepen your horsemanship knowledge, participate in an educational program, attend a workshop or special event, or simply discover where horses might fit into your life, there is a place for you here.
